Dear prayer partners, We thank you all so much for your faithful prayers for us, support, and e mails. We know very well that God´s kingdom advances “Not by armies(might) nor by strength (mere human talents) but by the Holy Spirit”. I recently preached on “God´s creative miracles” and mentioned that based on an army study, God must have provided a 3 and a half mile dry opening in the Red Sea so that aprox. 3 million Jews could cross it in one night!! There is certainly nothing impossible for our Lord! Good things are happening here in Cordoba, Argentina. Last Nov. 27 we celebrated the end of our 2011 Sunday School season with a special artistic and musical event. About 250 attended, and about 50 were newcomers, who heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. Our average Sunday School attendance was 127, in 12 classes, each with a teacher and an assistant. Carolina Suarez, 37. a new convert as a child was neglected by her mother, but the Lord guided her to visit her and to share the Gospel, she got saved and they got reconciled. A pastor friend, Dr. Vanzulli, reminded me recently that in 1988 I (David) prayed for his mother in law who had cancer, and God healed her; she is alive and well today. My grandson, Johann, 7, finished first grade last December, and was elected best companion of his class! A new family has been attending our church since December, the Acosta´s: Marcelo, 47, Sonia, 44 with their grown children: Franco, 22, who was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that required a plaque on skull, Noel, 19, who received Christ at a youth retreat last January, Alejandra, and Daniela. They will be receiving weekly basic Bible teachings by the Lopez couple beginning this week. Roberto, 35, and Miriam, 30, are new attenders too. Miriam told us how as a little girl her legs were deformed and twisted, and her father prayer desperately for healing, and her legs today are perfectly normal! Mariela Garay, 33, testified recently how after prayer, God healed her of acne, that had covered her entire face. Facundo, 19, while working on a slippery zinc roof fell about 20 feet, and landed squarely on his feet and suffered no damage! He testified that he felt “something” cushioning and softening his fall. Pablo Nicolosi, an ex- Catholic all his life, received Christ as Saviour at age 75. Billy and his family spent a week at the conference center that my father, Phil Saint, founded in the 60´s. Billy was worship leader, and told me the Holy Spirit moved in a powerful way, especially among a group of conservative who for the first time experienced the Baptism, and also some cases of deliverance, with the assistance of Rev. Pedro Jara. Our church recently decided to help with transportation costs (taxi for the return trip) a group of young people who come from about 10 miles away who don´t have cars nor adequate bus service and come faithfully every week. While my daughter in law Ines was single and a student here in Cordoba, she witnessed to a female friend, Marcela. Last January Ines met Marcela, who in now a Christian, and medical doctor. Billy and Ines directed a youth retreat Jan. 27 to 29, with about 50 kids attending. The Holy Spirit moved mightily thru the ministry of Rev. Alicia, Marcelo, Inés and Billy themselves, and Sat. night for several hours the Lord moved upon the group, pouring out the Baptism of the Spirit, gifts of the Spirit, saving one young man, and delivering another. The theme was “God calls us to be Agents of Salvation”. The youth group at present has 8 weekly Discipleship and evangelistic get togethers. (see the retreat video here) It has been my privilege in recent months to minister the Word in a number of other churches, and also at Lake Valley Conference center Feb. 6 to 13, where I was blessed to be able to provide Christian counseling to bro. José, and Gabriel. Our church is privileged to continue supporting on a monthly basis 5 missionaries, families or single persons, in Spain, United Kingdom, India, Pakistan, and China. Could you please help us with these needs? » Prayer for wisdom to win more souls, experience more miracles, and train workers. » Funds for a newer car for Billy Saint 5000$ (he now has a 1996 Volkswagen) » Funds to lay a good floor on our new church auditorium 6750$ (170 sq. meters) Here are some photos so you can see what is going on here: |
